Fuck Impeachment, I'm running for a third term!

Everyone and their mother is talking about my Illinois Governor Roddy Blogo, and i for one am really impressed by this man. Roddy was Impeached early today a narrow margin of one vote for him to not be Impeached and i am impressed that this man did not punk out on me. He made it very clear with his speech about how amazing he is that he will run for a third term and win.

He is my new hero, i haven't seen this much ball power since Cheney shot his friend in the face with a shotgun. I love in the video where he talks about that they wanted to impeach him in the summer of 2007(finally got the chance and did) even though he is doing such amazing things in the state.

One of his projects was standing on stage and he forgot which disease his Gubernatorial Power told to get the fuck out of his body. Then he talks about a lady that got screened at a Pink Pot Luck and found out that she had stage 4 brest cancer (i'm going to go ahead and assume that she died, for the fact he didn't talk about her recovery and only talked about that she was diagnosed for free, so then she could know what killed her.) and was able to recieve free screening and treatment.

He also put a special spin on how special intrest goups and lobbyist have hurt the state from moving forward with some of his plans(one of the reasons he was under investigation in the first place.) i.e. how he contracted out the Illinois Tollway construction, and getting health care for people.

In this whole 10 minutes about nothing he doesn't address the reason why he is being impeached and tells people he will get to there questions in a minute. so not only does the Bush Administration deflect and have a total disengagement from reality, so does my Governor. He goes for a jog in the snow while he is being impeached, and doesn't realize that you can't sell the Senate seat which the President-Elect comes from, and that is why he is my favorite person of the moment. Thanks Roddy Blogo, for absolutely nothing.

sincerely,

Icy Mike.

I hate this idiot. First, I just hate the fact that this puts a spotlight on "dirty Chicago politics" which makes President-Elect Obama look bad by association. Giving the dumb rightwingers something to attack him with. And then was his disgraceful racial pandering with his selection of Ronald Burris for the Senate.

When I saw that first press conference, and I was wondering what the heck Rep. Rush was even doing there? To immediately turn this into a racial issue?

Everyone knew about the cloud of suspicion surrounding the Gov., and the Democrats already said that didn't want to accept anyone that he would appoint. So then he comes out and basically says "Ha Ha! I picked a BLACK GUY! I bet you won't dare vote against HIM now! Screw you all!"

But I hate Burris most of all. They need to hang that Negro up by his nutsack for going along with this charade. We're entering a new era here, we don't have time for the old race-baiting game anymore.

i didn't even think about burris in that manor, even though it makes a lot of sense. i've been worried about his appointment to the senate seat since obama announced his run for president. i think burris is good choice for the simple fact that he will only do two more years and then he will be elected out by someone more qualified. I'm glad we still have Dick Durbin as our Senior Senator, gotta have at least One Qualified person in the state senate.

Well, there's two ways to look @ it in terms of whether someone is a good choice or not.

1/whomever gets picked, isn't being elected by the voters. So maybe it's better to put someone there just as a temporary place-holder, until 2010, when a real candidate can have a shot.

2/The Democrats want to hold that seat in 2010, so it would probably easier for an incumbant to run & win, even if he or she has only been in the office for 2 years, because @ least they'll have something to run on. Here in California, Shwarzenegger had a tough campaign when he ran to recall our Gov. But once he got in, he won re-election easily.

Taking #1 into account, Burris would be a good choice, under better circumstances, due to his age. Just let him sit there, and keep the seat warm. But the point is that he knew there was a cloud of suspicion hanging over the Gov. and that there were people calling for him to resign, and Democrating party said that they didn't want him to appoint anyone. But Burris went along with it anyway, AND made it seem like he deserved to be Senator, just because he's Black.

That's wack, yo.
